Pork Green Chile

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
I used a sirlion pork roast. very lean for pork. also instead of water i used chicken broth to slow cook the pork in.I added the tomatillo sp? mixture to the broth that i used to cook the pork in. it turned out to thin.I wont do that next time.otherwise very good recipe!

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: Aug. 10, 2009
I was very nrvous to try & make a cheesecake. But with this recipe it was to easy. I followed others reviews & did it excatly. After baking for an hour, I turned off my oven,{i left the cheesecake in the waterbath not really knowing if that was ok to do}went to my dock & had drinks for the next 4 hours or so,then went to the grocery store. Then I took it out.It looked beautiful & tasted even better. So like another reviwer said, its you not the recipe if it doesnt turn out great.

Great cake for a good laugh. Lots of fun to make. I would use some frosting & more pudding next time. The little debbie brownies can be very ralistic! & this recipe can really be used with alot of differant cakes mixes & pudding.

Aunt Teen's Creamy Chocolate Fudge

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
This is the first time I have ever made fudge, & it was awesome!!! so easy & very good. I did use more nuts then called for, but we like alot of nuts in our fudge. I dont usually eat alot of what I make & I think I gained 5lbs from eating most of this fudge. Thanks Aunt Teen for a great recipe that I will use for many years!!

Swamp Frog

Reviewed: Nov. 2, 2008
This punch was a huge hit. It is very powerful!!!! but thats the point!!! I used 80 proof vodka & only 2 bottles of soda. Next time I will use 3 bottles of soda. The only thing is that it is very citrusie (sp?) , so if you get heartburn easily I would be careful. It needs something to calm down the citrus. If anyone has any ideas about that please post. But over all a GREAT punch for adults!! & Lots of fun to play around with.

Javi's Really Real Mexican Ceviche

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2008
I have had ceviche in Mexico & this is pretty close in taste. I like it best with shrimp & a good white fish. I also added radishes. It is good with scallops though. I like to eat it as a dip with tortilla chips.

Cream of Pumpkin Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 4, 2009
Th e first time we had pumpkin soup was on a cruise.Thought ,how weird, we tried it & loved it. so on halloween 09, i decided to try & make it. It turned out GREAT. I probably added less onions, more pumpkin, brown sugar, nutmeg. I will make this again. It is not the type of soup you would make a whole meal of, but very yummy & impressive.

New England Clam Chowder I

Reviewed: Jan. 3, 2009
This recipe is very basic & easy to make. It has a good taste but is too thin for our liking. I had to add flour to thicken it up. It also could use some celery or something, just to plain for me, but a good base to start with.
