followed other reviewer's suggestions, applesauce instead of oil, not as much sugar, half brown half white, and whole wheat flour for half of the flour. It was great!

These were all right day one, much better the second day and actually pretty good when frozen and then thawed. I did increase the chocolate, used half oil and half applesauce and used half whole wheat flour. I would make them again but only with intention of freezing. Much healthier treat for my kids.

Easy Slow Cooker French Dip

Perfect as is, sometimes I skip the beer and it is still delicious. I might try some of the additions suggested by other reviewers next time--could only improve the flavor! I have great success freezing this recipe, too, right in the broth. Keeps the meat super flavorful and makes for a quick supper that way. Thanks for the great and super easy recipe.

Fluffy Whole Wheat Biscuits

Excellent recipe! These easy biscuits were so much fluffier than my usual recipe, and they are a little healthier. I'll be making these from now on. I premixed all the dry ingredients the night before and so just had to add the milk and butter in the morning and roll them out.
