Swiss Chicken Casserole II

Reviewed: Mar. 29, 2010
My little girls really liked this but for me it was a little bland. Even though the recipe didnt call for any seasoning on the chicken, I did it anyways and it still didnt have too much flaovr. I will definitely make again though!

Mijo's Slow Cooker Shredded Beef

Reviewed: Mar. 1, 2009
This was a huge disspaointment to me. I followed the recipe exactly but I just did not like the way this tasted at all. In my opinion the Worsteshire and beer just did not mesh together well and with the hot sauce mixed in it just had the worst smell as it was cooking. My husband even commented on the smell. I definately will not try to attempt this one again but will stick to the traditional way of making Mexican style shredded beef.

Chocolate Covered Strawberries

I can not believe how easy it was to make these. I cannot imagine why anyone would spend so much money on these when they are so easy to make yourself!

Rocky Road Candies

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
I was a little dissapointed that this was just a gooey mess. I gave it 5 stars anyhow because the "goo" was my fault. I used Evaporated milk instead of condensed....Big mistake. It still had a wonderful flavor and my husband ate and loved it anyway. I will definately make again but will follow directions more carefully :)

Broccoli Beef I

Reviewed: Jan. 2, 2009
This is dish is AMAZING!! My family doesnt even like broccoli and they really enjoyed it. I took a few tips and chopped the ginger in bigger sizes so that I could pull it out once finished. I added chopped onions and a little bit of Chopped cilantro towards the end. The flavor was delicious. I actually mixed the meat in the broth, flour, sugar and soy sauce prior to frying (by accident) and it turned out awesome....better than any take out for sure!! I think next time I will add a few red pepper flakes like another reviewer suggested. Thanks for this great recipe!

I was a little bit dissapointed with this one. My family didnt eat this at all! Luckily, my mother in law made stuffing in her turkey. I gave this 4 stars because we didnt care for the taste but if you like these spices it is a great recipe.

Candied Yams

Reviewed: Dec. 15, 2008
I made these for Thanksgiving and they were a hit! The only thing I did differently was I added a dash of Cinnamon. My husband noted that they tasted different from Last years yams and that he liked that these were "spicy".

Pan Dulces

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2008
I really hate giving bad reviews especially if it may have been because of something I did wrong, but I followed this recipe exactly. These came out way too dense, not fluffy like the Pan dulce my mother in law makes. I dont think I will attempt this recipe again.
