Steak Tip Marinade

Reviewed: Sep. 3, 2009
LOVE IT!! Absolutely delicious! I did exactly what the recipe said plus I added 1/4 cup of honey. I marinated it over night. My husband bbq it for about 10 minutes than brought it inside and popped it in the oven at 325 for about 10 more minuets. It was SO juicy and delicious!! We also had grilled some walla walla sweet onions! Next time I have company, this is what I am making! I will use this recipe again and again!

Lemon Pasta Sauce

Reviewed: Jul. 1, 2010
Super yummy and perfect with the Broiled Tilapia Parmesan recipe! The only thing I did different is I left out the heavy whipping cream and used Evaporated Milk to make it a little healthier. I did have to add some cornstarch to make the sauce thicker (make sure to mix the cornstarch with cold water) I also left out the lime zest. I topped with capers. It was so yummy and we will definantly make this again!

Taco Casserole

Yummy, easy and I had all of the ingredients. The only thing I did different is I mashed up the chips, heated them and put them on each individual serving so that the chips woudln't get soggy later.

Award Winning Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies

Yummy! This came out perfect, soft and delicious! They are slightly cake in the sense that they are fluffy (if that makes sense) but they are super good! I will be making this over and over again!

Awesome Slow Cooker Pot Roast

Reviewed: Sep. 7, 2010
This is great but my gravy didn't turn out, it was really runny. It had good flavor and is excellent the next day with a little bbq sauce. January, 2011 I made this recipe again but made some changes as another reviewer suggested. I added 2 cans (reduced fat and sodium) cream of mushroom, 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce, 1 cup beef broth and 1/2 onion soup mixture. I also used sliced onions. I waited until about 1 1/2 hours until the roast was done an added the veggies, I like them with a little crunch. I used the soup mixture for gravy and made rice and buns to go with it. It was so juicy, tender and delicious!! I will defiantly keep this one! It went from a 4 star to a 5 star with these changes!

Delicious!! I will make this soup over and over again! The only thing I would change is don't add salt. The ham seems to add enough. Thanks for sharing!

Acorn Squash

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
This is delicious and simple, however I do it a little different. I do 2tb. butter, I also add 2tb. raisins, 1 apple sliced and 1/4tsp. nutmeg. I melt the butter in a saucepan and then add the apples and sautee until tender. Then add the raisins and spices just until all mixed together. It turns out delicous, more like a dessert.

Cola Pot Roast II

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2010
I love the flavor of this recipe! I stuck mine in the crock pot for 4 hours. 2 hours in I added the carrots (I don't like when they get mushy). Instead of adding potatoes, I did mashed potatoes. I used the gravy from the crock and poured it over my potatoes and meat. I was so yummy! For some reason my meat was tough but I think it may have been the cut of meat! I will defiantly be trying this again!

Candied Garlic Chicken Wings

AMAZING!! These turned out SO yummy! I did exactly what the recipe said. I marinated them for about 4 hours. I popped them in the oven and when they came out they were such a beautiful color. We served them with Hooters wing sauce (hot) and they were perfect. The sweet goes good with the spicy! I will defiantly be making these again!

Curried Rice Pilaf

Reviewed: Nov. 28, 2010
WONDERFUL!! I would give this 10 stars if I could. We didn't add the green onions because we didn't have any. We also didn't add the raisins or the almonds. As other reviewers suggested we doubled the curry and it was perfect! It was so yummy. My 1 year old and my "well defined taste" 5 year old loved it too!! This is definitely a keeper! My husband and I made this again but did it a little differently so that we could make it more of a meal. I added diced chicken, zucchini and mushrooms. I boiled the chicken and then added it into the pan with the veggies. I sauted (sp?) them for about 10 minutes, we like the zucchini to still have a little crunch. I also sprinkled the chicken, zucchini and mushrooms with about 1/2 tsp. of curry. It was SO yummy and filling!

Lana's Sweet and Sour Meatballs

Reviewed: Dec. 5, 2010
Very yummy! I made 3 batches and in the first batch I forgot the egg...oops. They still turned out great. I doubled the sauce and it was perfect. My husband took some to work for a potluck so we made them the night before. When he got to work he put them in the crock pot on low and they were perfect! We will definitely make them again!
