About this Cook
I am a true Ohio State Buckeye football fan, and alumni 89. I enjoy scrapbooking with my peeps, travling, and long walks in the park. I like to collect recipes and share outstanding recipes with others. There is something to be said for the saying, "How can you have problems with a person that makes wonderful things for you to eat."
My favorite things to cook
I enjoy making soups and pasta dishes with what is on hand in the fridge and pantry. I like recipes that have a little complexity to them, if you will, a notch above average. It's a challenge to impress my picky critic, Steve.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Mom's Schnitzel on Christmas Eve after midnight mass, like 2am...lemons and Scnitzel galore.
My cooking triumphs
The very first Thanksgiving Turkey I ever made was a huge hit, juicy, flavorful and tender. I was so proud. Gotta love those turkey bads, they are the bomb. Oh yeah and I have mastered took a couple tries. Thanks Lainie!
My cooking tragedies
Ohhh mush loaf.. definately... awh.. that was a bad day in my kitchen.

Quick Chicken with Asparagus and Provolone
Wow, when I took the lid off the skillet and all that provolone was melted over the chicken and aspagus, I got an ooooo and and an awh. Well recieved dinner, will make again. Super cheesy and great flavor.

Aaron's Missouri Burger
Different, yes. Sweet not our taste. Maybe a hot cheese would counteract the super sweetness of the meat or possibly onion rolls for the buns. Not requested again.

Stuffed and Wrapped Chicken Breast
Big hit here. The double meat action really excited my boyfriend. However, I think pounding out the chicken a little would have made the rolling part a little easier, or I just had fat little chicken breasts. Very tasty, will make again.
