Jamie's Minestrone
Excellent soup and very easy! I added one can of stewed tomatoes and the water, instead of one of the cups of water called for. The only question I had is why a recipe that calls for fresh ingredients recommends canned green beans. If fresh veggies are not available, substitute frozen since they are so much better for you and don't have all of the sodium. I'm not sure it's necessary to cook the veggies and pasta separately. If you're going to simmer the soup for a while, you can toss everything together and they will all cook in the pot.

Marilyn's Cheesy Clam Chowder
Very good. I doubled all of the veggies. It would be a little thin without that. The bacon grease adds a good flavor, but use very little bacon garnish as it can be a little overpowering. I will definitely make it again and maybe try the Half and Half next time, although it was thick enough with the milk.

Spinach Lasagna III
This was very good. I used frozen chopped spinach for ease. I don't think the recipe calls for enough tomato sauce so I doubled it and saved some to pour over the lasagna before serving it.
