excellent carrot cake!! made exactly as written except i made it allergy friendly for my son: substitute the eggs for flax+water mix, butter for vegan butter and the flour for a gluten free flour blend. i had to bake it 25 mins longer due to the flax mix. it was really moist. my kids, husband and i give it 2 thumbs up!

Honey Mustard Sauce

excellent!! kids and hubby loved it! we used it as dipping sauce for the herbed chicken nuggets also of this site and as equally popular in our house! only alterations were to use vegenaise instead of mayonnaise for egg free version.

Soft Chocolate Cookies

excellent chocolate cookies! i was looking for cookies without chips (didn't have any!) and this was it! I just made it allergy friendly for my son (wheat, dairy and egg free). i used vegan butter instead of butter and 2 T flax meal + 6T water boiled and cooled to replace the eggs. i did have to cook them for 13 mins. but that's because of the flax meal. everyone loved them, and i say loved in past tense because they were gone in no time!

Best Steak Marinade in Existence

did not like it at all. i prefer more of a ginger garlic soya sauce brown sugar combo. lacked flavour even though my steaks marinated all day.

Korean BBQ Chicken Marinade

added 4 cloves of garlic and marinated my chicken breast overnight. excellent! husband and my 2 boys loved it! try boiling the leftover marinade and using it on noodles. YUM!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

i'm a bit of an apple pie snob but this is truly the best apple pie i've ever had. just the perfect combo if cinnamon and sugar. i've different kinds of apples and it always tastes great! LOVE IT!
