Stuffed Cabbage Rolls
My mom has been making stuffed cabbage for years; she never used rice in her chopmeat mixture; but she did add some type of pork -- bacon, porkfat etc. that she would saute and mix with chopmeat; always used tomato soup. She now cores the cabbage and freezes it and it does NOT come out tough or inedible, if you boil it it is hot and you have to wait a while; I tried steaming it in microwave and it came out perfect and didn't take as long to cool as opposed to boiling it.

Spider Cupcakes
i found black licorice at A.C. Moore; Wilton the cake/candy decorating company sells it. Also I have a similar recipe but die the icing green and put licoricie in for legs and put an oreo on top of that; then take some tinted green icing and put 2 dots on the cookie and put green M&M's on the icing to make it look like eyes; you can use the red licorice too if you can't find the black but stores that sell Wilton products would have it in the seasonal display section. also I got package of sprinkles shaped like bats, witches hats and candy eyes could use too; would not use Red Hots as kids don't like them and neither do many adults.

Hamburger Soup II
I made this the other day when not feeling so well and I wanted a recipe that I could use what I had on hand. I substituted frozen green beans for peas and carrots. Also I added more seasonings and last 10 minutes I threw in a cup of shredded white american cheese, I think any shredded cheese -- monterey, colby, swiss, would do -- it really made a difference. Also 4 days later tasted even better. Next time I'm eliminating the potatoes and serving it over mashed potatoes or rice.
