About this Cook
I live in the mountains, so I dont get much garden fare, which makes it hard to cook vegetable inspired dishes. I am constantly looking for meals that are semi-homemade, anything to make my life easier.
My favorite things to cook
I am a baker, my favorite recipes come from the hundreds of cooking shows I watch. My absolute fave is one from mexican made easy. Choco flan. If you havent ever made this you must, its magical.
My favorite family cooking traditions
If my family gathers its inevitable that there will be 100 lbs of food per person. So traditional salads, and sides, and desserts. My mothers taco salad is the bomb, and I love reunions cuz I get a butt load of taco salad. I usually end up eating most of it. hahaha
My cooking triumphs
I made a dinner like no other and cant remember what it was. It was a zuchini sort of ratatoui with mushrooms and onion. The flavor was so good it would make you slap ur momma, paired with a cheese/mushroom tortellini. I have never eaten anything so top chef and have not been able to duplicate it. thats what happens when you cook hungry I guess.
My cooking tragedies
O there have been too many to count. Thats what happens when you experiment hungry I guess. hahaha

Cheese Soup with Broccoli
3 stars. I used a food processor to chop veggies and I did not like the outcome. Guess I need to become a better cook. I did enjoy the flacor of this soup however.
