Triple Berry Crisp

Reviewed: Jun. 21, 2013
I used frozen berries and it wasn't runny at all. However, I did not think this was any better than other fruit crisp recipes I have used in the past. I also felt 3 sticks of butter was way to much for this crisp.

No Bake Cookies III

Reviewed: Jul. 18, 2011
These come out more like fudge than cookies. Also, they were WAY too sweet for my husband and I. If I were to ever make these again, and I won't, I would use a lot less sugar!

Mrs. Sigg's Snickerdoodles

Reviewed: Apr. 3, 2011
I halved the recipe and they still came out PERFECT. This is the best snickerdoodle recipe I have ever used. Like others did, I removed my cookies at exactly 8 minutes and had no problem immediately getting them off the sheet. They were soft and fluffy. I did add extra sugar and cinnamon for rolling the cookies in.

Krista's Toffee Delights

Reviewed: Oct. 10, 2010
These are way to rich. I would suggest 1) using regular grahams crushed 2) omitting the 6 crushed candy bars and 3) only use about 3.5 to 4 ounces of the toffee baking bits. I found it hard to "evenly" spread a can of condensed milk too.

Strawberry Bread

Reviewed: Jul. 21, 2010
Excellent and easy. I used two cups of strawberrys and tossed in half a cup of pineapple chunks because I needed to get rid of them and it tastes great. I changed nothing except for baking it in a bundt pan for 60 minutes because I don't have to 9x5 loaf pans. It is delicious!

Banana Pudding IV

Reviewed: May 15, 2010
It's easy to make and convenient. However, you need to let it sit in the fridge for a day or two so the flavors meld together. My husband and I ate some about four hours after I had made it and the prepackaged box taste of the Nilla wafers was very detectable.

Granola Bars III

Reviewed: Apr. 30, 2010
These are pretty good tasting but there are some issues with the recipe. First, the foil or parchment lining of the 9x13 dish is not necessary at all if you spray the dish before baking. Second, DO NOT USE HANDS TO PRESS INTO THE PAN OR TO MIX! A greased spatula works perfectly and there is no mess left behind. Third, I expected the bars to be crunchier, like the Oat N' Honey bars at the grocery store. I even baked them 10 minutes longer than stated and they just don't have a lot of crunch.

Chocolate Chip Oatmeal Cookies

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2010
I chose to make these as cookie bars. I stuck to the recipe except I added more chocolate chips and 2 TBSP of half n' half because I had it on hand. I cooked them for about 40 minutes and they came out perfect. The flavor and consistency were excellent. The batter was softer than traditional cookie dough but I found that made it easier on me to stir in all the oatmeal and chips! KEEPER.

Felix K.'s 'Don't even try to say these aren't the best you've ever eaten, because they are' Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 6, 2010
These are the best chocolate chip cookies I have ever made in my own kitchen. They are also SOME of the best cookies I have ever tasted! However, if you don't have 3+ hours to devote to these than forget it. THIS RECIPE TURNS OUT PERFECT IF YOU FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS TO THE LETTER. The only thing I did different was using 420 grams of flower instead of 440 (i use a scale when baking). You MUST let the cookies cool for about 20 minutes on the sheet this finishes the baking process. Also, for the people complaining of "cakey" cookies you used too much flour (hince why I use a scale). If you use a tablespoon to help form the cookies and press them to almost exactly 1/4 inch these cookies are exactly like store bought! Crispy and chewy and buttery! I only got six to a cookie sheet too so be patient!

Sour Cream Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Dec. 4, 2009
The cake is good but a tad dry which suprised me because of the sour cream. It's a little difficult to divide the batter in half with a 9 x 13 inch pan but I made it work. The second layer of batter is the most difficult to spread, I just continued to dip a rubber spatula in water while spreading to keep the batter from sticking and pulling.

These are just a good, traditional molasses cookie. I don't completely melt my margarine and didn't bake them for quite so long.

Turkey Burger Pie

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2009
This is not that great and it's pretty low on nutrition too. I'm sure you could add some veggies to it or something but I've made much quicker, tastier and healthier "rush" dinners in my life.
