Franks and Corn Bread

Reviewed: Jun. 19, 2014
Really tasty! I used a 28 oz can of Bush's baked beans instead of pork and beans and heated up the hot dogs and beans before putting everything in the oven, turned out great. My 9 year old didn't like it (never heard of a kid not liking beanie weenies) but my husband and I devoured it.

Fudgy Chocolate Cream Pie

Followed exactly and it turned out perfect. Topped with regular cool whip but real whipped cream would be insanely good. Dangerous!

Annemarie's Lemon Bars

Reviewed: Jan. 16, 2014
I will make these again but with less crust and more filling. Very tasty-but the proportions were all wrong in my opinion. If you want to keep these to a smaller pan, I'd suggest half the crust. With some trial and error changes I think this is a really good start.

Chicken and Corn Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 13, 2014
Really simple to make and really tasty! I only cooked it on low for about 6-7 hours total, adding the corn and beans for the last 30-40 min. Additionally, I added a few dashes of both cayenne pepper and nutmeg plus I doubled the chili powder. I will definitely make this again.

Cheddar-Thyme Flaky Biscuits

Reviewed: Dec. 13, 2011
So good! I added about a teaspoon of garlic powder and baked these a little longer than what the recipe said. Otherwise delicious. I'm going to serve them with grilled trout and spinach. Thanks, this will now be my go to biscuit recipe.

Egg in a Hole

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2011
I used butter instead of bacon grease and it was AMAZING. I can only imagine bacon grease would make it better. I placed the egg in the hole as soon as I set the toast in the pan because I like my eggs well done. Worked out great.

Fluffy Peanut Butter Frosting

Reviewed: Oct. 6, 2011
Really good. I used a little less sugar-winged it until I found the right consistency. I was a huge hit, I piped it on devil's food cupcakes for a family BBQ. Everyone raved about it. Thanks!

Chicken Cordon Bleu I

Reviewed: Nov. 22, 2009
My husband and I loved this! I started with thin cut breasts and pounded them down. I used three deli slices of Black Forest ham and one slice of Swiss cut in half so the ham and Swiss covered the whole breast before rolling. I only had panko bread crumbs on hand and it worked out perfectly. Fancy looking yet simple to prepare.
