Loved the uniqueness of this dish. I followed the directions exact but I did add in a little soy sauce like I read in one of the other reviews. My wife and I enjoyed it and we'll be making it again no doubt.

Exotic Pomegranate Chicken

The blend of spices worked so well together with the pomegranate juice. The little bite from the peppers and sweetness from the juice left for an amazing after taste. Served it with rice and broccoli. Only change I think I'll make is a little more juice so I have more to top it with and maybe save only 1/4 instead of 1/3 of the blend for the second part. Already made a blend of the dry herbs and put it aside for the next time I make it.

Sausage Spanish Rice

Great dish. I cut the portion to half the size and substituted half a Chicken for the Sausage but the flavor was all there. Great dish, I'll be making it again.

Spring Cleaning Cookies

I never tell anyone where I found this. As far as they know these are MY cookies. Keeping this one secret from the family, too good to share with them. Only one that doesn't like them is my mother and thats because she thinks no one can make anything better then her.

Ropa Vieja in a Slow Cooker

Careful not to overcook this or it will turn into mush. I learned this by mistake. Follow the directions and check on it often and it will come out great.

Red Apple Martini

It was like tasting fall in a glass. It was perfect for me, but for others I had to cut down the whiskey to half. Also I used a really good bourban that I liked instead. Woodridge Reserve.

Best Ever Spinach Artichoke Dip

Added in tomatoes at the request of my wife. Made it for Thanksgiving for everyone to snack on while waiting for the food and it went over very well. Easy to make and reheat.

Sweet Potato Latkes

Went over very well. I added a little more flour and cinnamon along with some nutmeg and skipped on the cloves. Only bad part is they don't hold very well over time.
