I tried this for the first time last night and the hubby and I loved it. I'm not a huge fan of pork but this was great. I used orange juice instead of lemon juice since I didn't have any in the house. It was a sweet glaze on the outside with the salty pork taste in the middle. I didn't use all of the thickening flour mixture and had to add a little more apple juice to help the consistency, but when the pork was done cooking (slowly), the sauce had reduced too much. It turned out great though. Served with garlic mashed potatoes and corn.

I loved this! My husband likes plain pork chops and I hate plain... Voila, I added this and he didn't. Wonderful rich flavor and so easy to make. I served with rice and corn. We were both happy.

I love this recipe. I make it at all the time served over lightly salted jasmine rice. I always use real minced garlic instead of garlic powder just because I love garlic. I even had some of the cheese spill over onto sweet white corn and it was awesome. Just for easy clean up, line a dish with foil before baking. Then just toss the foil when you're done. If there were more than 5 stars I'd give this recipe more.
