Milk Chocolate Pecan Pie

A true crowd pleaser. I used a frozen Deep Dish pie crust and just covered the edges with foil. I have made many pecan pies that usually resulted in either a gloppy mess or burnt to a crisp. This was the closest I have ever come to perfection. I am so excited!

Meatball Sandwich

I made the meatballs and they came out great. They were a little mushy so I broiled them about 2 minutes a side. Much better.

Swiss Sherry Chicken

Made it as written. Didn't pound the chicken and had to add about 10 minutes to the cooking time. The whole family enjoyed this one, moist chicken is a rarity in my kitchen. Serve over egg noodles, there was plenty of buttery sauce to go around.

Mini Pumpkin Butterscotch Muffins

This is surprisingly good. I don't usually bake something if chocolate isn't one of the first ingredents, but it just sounded interesting. I didn't have nutmeg or baking powder but took a chance with ground allspice. So good, I urge you to try.

Honey Bun Cake I

This was so easy to make. I sprayed a bundt pan with spray canola oil and cooked for 45 minutes. Other than that followed the exact recipe. The icing gave me a little trouble, needs a little trial and error. Pretty cake when you cut it on the inside. This was a little too sweet for my sweet tooth, think I will play around with the brown sugar amounts next time. Lots of potential with this one.
