Feta Artichoke Dip

Reviewed: Jul. 20, 2009
I made this dip for a family BBQ. It was a big hit!!! I only had an 8x8 baking dish, so I did have to bake the dip a few minutes longer, and needed to broil it for a few minutes to brown the top. I can't wait to make this again!

German Apple Cake I

Reviewed: Sep. 14, 2010
I made this cake for the first time the other day. Working together in the kitchen, my 11 year old nephew and I each made a cake. He peeled the apples and I cored and diced them, forming a fun assembly line and cutting the preparation time in half. I made one cake for my household and he made his to bring home to his mom, dad and siblings. This German Apple Cake was a BIG hit! The cake was so moist and flavorful. The cinnamon and apples worked so well together, gave the flavors of an apple pie. Will definatley make this again, soon.

Spicy Eggplant

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2013
Very tasty! I made this exact to the recipe. Although the recipe didn't specify, I did peel the eggplant. The only difference, was that I added cooked cubed chicken and served the meal over jasmine rice. Will make again.

Boilermaker Tailgate Chili

Reviewed: Feb. 12, 2011
Excellent chili! I followed the recipe exact, except I didn't have Bacon Bits, so I cooked 2 strips of bacon and crumbled it. Other than that, I did exact to recipe and it was fantastic! This makes a big pot, so I froze half of the chili for another nights dinner.

Shrimp Lemon Pepper Linguini

Excellent! Easy to make. Instead of linguini I cooked up some penne, other than that, I followed the recipe exact. Fantastic with some garlic bread and a salad.

Sesame Pasta Chicken Salad

Reviewed: Jun. 25, 2011
Excellent! If you like Asian flavors, you will love this recipe. I made the recipe exact to the instructions. I did cheat a litte, and used a precooked rotisserie chicken, and shredded the meat from it. It made this recipe very quick to make. I have a few family members that are vegetarian, and I think they could substitute this chicken for steamed broccoli or tofu. I will be making this recipe again and again!

Maple Salmon

Reviewed: Jul. 16, 2011
Quick! Easy! Delicious! I made this today for the first time. I marinated it for 30 minutes (15 minutes on each side). The only alteration I made, was adding 1/8 tsp of grated ginger to the marinade. This dish came out fantastic!

Scalloped Potatoes and Onions

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2011
Excellent recipe! Easy to make...the only time consuming part was peeling the potatoes. Since I own a slicer, it made slicing the potatoes very simple. Great recipe to serve with a roasted chicken or maybe even during the holidays!

Winter Fruit Salad with Lemon Poppyseed Dressing

Reviewed: Oct. 27, 2011
I love this salad! My mom has been making this for a few years and it's just the perfect paring with a nice autumn dinner. It's easy to make, and has a wonderful sweetness to the dressing, along with the accompinment of the sweet fruits. I am actually pairing it tonight with a pumpkin ravioli w/ gorgonzola cheese sauce.

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2012
This was a very delicious and simple recipe to make. I used Perdue Shortcuts Carved Chicken Breasts, to save time on a busy weeknight... All I needed to do was cook the pasta and make the sauce. I was able to skip the first part of the recipe, by using the Perdue chicken. The dinner came out great!

Pork Tenderloin with Dijon Marsala Sauce

Reviewed: Mar. 15, 2012
This dish is excellent! I followed the recipe, but have to agree with the other reviewers, not to coat the tenderloin with mustard before browning. Instead add the mustard to the wine when making the sauce. Coating the tenderloins before browning, just burned the mustard in the baking dish, so to avoid that, I will skip the coating. Otherwise, this was a fantastic recipe, and I WILL make it again and again! Served it with some rice pilaf and vegetables (sauted fresh onions, zuchinni and yellow squash).

Cilantro-Lime Dressing

Reviewed: Jul. 4, 2012
Excellent! I had a southwestern salad at a local restaurant, and wanted to make the salad at home. I searched for a recipe closest to the Lime Cilantro Dressing served with my salad, and this is the BEST! I made my own Southwestern Salad, with Lettuce, Grilled Chicken, Black Beans, Corn, Tortilla Chip strips, and this dressing. I have served this to guests, and they have raved about it! This dressing is EXCELLENT!!!!!
