I really love this recipe. I had been planning on trying it for awhile, but I just now got around to it. It is really good. I did cook it for over 16 hours, but less probably would have been alright. I used regular sea salt (I went to three stores even specialty ones and I couldn't find hawaiian). We served it as sandwiches with some BBQ sauce on top. I prefer this recipe over typical pulled pork recipes where the pork sits in the BBQ sauce. This has a great flavor even without BBQ sauce and then you can just add the amount that you want instead of having it drenched. I definitely recommend this recipe!
