Homemade Chocolate Sandwich Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
These were wonderful. I used cream cheese frosting for half of them and marshmallow fluff for the other half and both were fabulous! The cookies were easy to make and very tender, with a very chocolately taste. I'll be making them a lot.

Very good soup. I've made it as written and also added or deleted veggies dependng on what I had on hand. It has come out perfectly every time.

Corn Fritters

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
Good, but came out kind of greasy. Not sure if I did something wrong or what. Next time I make these, I'll add more corn. These didn't seem to have enough. It was more dough than anything.

Biscochitos Traditional Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
The dough came out very dry and so did the cookie. I made two batches, just to make sure I hadn't messed one up and the result was the same.

Rum or Bourbon Balls

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
These are fabulous! More like rum-flavored fudge than a cookie texture, they are rich and creamy and decadent. Made one batch with rum and the second using Southern Comfort. Both turned out wonderfully.

Southwestern Chicken Soup

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
Very good. I made this following the recipe exactly and everyone loved it. Next time I think I will add a little less jalepenos because hubby said it was a little hot for him, but tasted great! Will definitely make again.

I made this as my contribution to a superbowl party feast and everyone loved it! The onion gives it a wonderful flavor and the lemon juice really added to it. I will definitely make this again.

Southern Comfort Cake

Reviewed: Feb. 19, 2010
This was very good, very moist and easy to make. Next time, though, I will either leave out the walnuts or use pecans instead. I didn't think the walnuts added much to the recipe.

Anytime Fruit Salad

Reviewed: May 4, 2010
Very light and not too sweet. I used lite coolwhip and fat-free cottage cheese. The only differencewas that I had no pineapple so I used more mandarin oranges. Will definitely make this again.

Good for You Greek Salad

Reviewed: Jul. 11, 2010
This dish is delicious. The only thing I will do differently next time, and there will be a next time, is to seed the cukes. The salad got a bit watery so seeding will keep that from happening again. Easy, refreshing, tasty.
