Sweet Dinner Rolls
About this Cook
I learned to cook from my Memere and my mom. My Memere always cooked a great dinner but my two favorites are Vietnamese Chop Suey and Ground beef with canned spaghetti. My mom is a super star at cooking everything! I definitely strive to be as wonderful of a cook as she is.
My favorite things to cook
Vietnamese Chop Suey is number 1...It's low calorie and makes a big batch so there is always leftovers! YUMYUM Chili - Love the smell of all the spices working together on this one. It's like Heaven in a pot Sweet Dinner Rolls - I always make these with my daughter, she is 3, and they make the house smell soooo good.
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mom has always made a mixture of brown sugar and yellow mustard to put on top of ham when it comes out...It usually ends up on my potatoes too :-)
My cooking triumphs
I consider any dinner that I throw together ingredients and comes out great a triumph.
My cooking tragedies
If I forget to start the timer when baking it is always a tragedy :-(

Cream Cheese Frosting II
I didn't want the frosting to sweet so I used 1.5 cups of confections' sugar...Turned out very yummy and you still have a great creamed cheese taste.

Sweet Dinner Rolls
My entire family LOVES this recipe. I always make a double batch because they don't last long! I don't use a bread machine so I microwave the milk and water for 1 min 10 secs. While that is heating up I add the sugar and yeast (2.5 teaspoons) to my kitchenaid. Then add the milk/water mixture and let sit for 15 mins. After that add butter, egg and mix until blended. Add remaining ingredients and mix until it doesn't stick to the bowl. Let sit in bowl for 1 hour covered for first rise. Kneed down and cut off dough to make desired shapes. Cover and let rise for 1 hr. Bake at 400 for 10-12 mins. This also makes a great dough for sticky buns! Enjoy :-)
