Best Brownies

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
My 12 year old daughter and her friend baked these on a rainy day. They turned out great. The glaze was a little strange, it was easily spread on warm brownies with the back of a metal serving spoon. The glaze complimented the brownies nicely! We'll make these again!

Favorite Peanut Butter Cookies

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
I made these for Christmas and my husband and daughter loved them! I added mini chocolate chips to have of the batch (yum) and I also used reduced fat peanut butter, since it is all that I keep on hand. I am baking another batch as I type this and they smell soooo good!!! Thanks for the great recipe!

Shrimp Scampi Bake

Reviewed: Jan. 17, 2009
I've made this twice and we love it! The only change I made was to use about 1/2 teaspoon of Old Bay seasoning. Very good served over linguine.

Easy Breaded Shrimp

Very good!!! This is a breading that actually sticks to the shrimp without being to thick and heavy. Great on a Shrimp Po Boy sandwich!!! It's a keeper!!!

Russian Mushroom and Potato Soup

Very good!!! Really enjoyed the dill and the mushrooms. I liked using the chicken broth in place of all the traditional milk or cream, fewer calories and fat. It's a keeper!!!

Spinach Tortellini Soup

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
My girlfriends and I loved this one! I also cooked the tortellini separate ,added the julienne carrots, 2 cloves thinly sliced garlic, 5 thinly sliced mushrooms and about a 1/4 cup white wine to the broth. Sprinkled the top of each bowl with parmesan cheese and served with a crusty bread YUM!!!

WOW!! Is this easy!! I've made it with the refrigerated crust as well as the frozen deep dish crust with a refrigerated crust on top for the lattice(donating to a cake walk, didn't want to give up my pie plates!) What a hit! My family says it's a keeper!!!

Topsy-Turvy Apple Pie

Reviewed: Nov. 1, 2008
This is a great alternative to traditional apple pies! My family loved it and said it was a keeper!!! I've made it a few times and found real butter spreads more easily in the bottom of the pie plate than margarine.
