Marinated Grilled Shrimp

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2008
I made this the first time for a family get together and it was a total hit. The shrimp flew off the plate! I have made this several times since and every time it is loved. I also use the marinade with just a pinch of cayenne pepper for a slightly different taste. I will sometimes saute the shrimp in a pan and throw it over pasta. The marinade is delicious and can be adjusted slightly to compliment various types of meals.

Garlic Mashed Red Potatoes

Reviewed: Dec. 21, 2009
Delicious! I made these for Thanksgiving and they were all the rage. I added extra cream and butter but a little less parmesean. Once the potatoes were in my stand mixer I just kept adding things until they were just right. Great recipe! I will be making these again for Christmas!

Spicy Maryland Crab Dip

Reviewed: Dec. 31, 2009
Authentic Maryland Crab Dip! Absolutely delicious! I also used less Old Bay and just seasoned to taste. Probably about 1 Tablespoon. I increased the crab meat to a full pound of jumbo lump and used a four cheese blend... YUMMY! I made it for Christmas Eve and it was gone in a matter of minutes. Making it again tonight for New Year's Eve!

Mom's Whole Wheat Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 29, 2012
I make this for my husband every time he travels for work so he has something yummy to eat for breakfast. Here and there he would share it with the co-workers he was traveling with. Now all of his co-workers look forward to going on business trips with him because of the banana bread. On his last trip, I backed three loaves for him to take and every slice was devoured before he returned home only a few days later.

Rosemary Ranch Chicken Kabobs

Tasty. A nice alternative to the flavors we usual go towards when making kabobs. This will definitely become a standard recipe that we make often.

Teriyaki Kabobs

Reviewed: Jun. 23, 2012
We marinated overnight and the steak was nice and tender. I needed to double the marinade in order to have enough to baste with. I didn't have seasoned salt so I used some Emeril cajun seasoning. I would like to try it again using the seasoned salt.

Rosemary Lemon Grilled Chicken

Reviewed: Oct. 16, 2012
Great flavors. Like other reviewers, I used half olive oil ad half butter. I only marinated for an hour so I would guess that the flavors would be more intense if I marinated longer. We already have plans to make it again.

Sweet, Sticky and Spicy Chicken

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2013
As is, this recipe is good. I plan to make it again with a few tweaks. I think it needed less spice, slightly more sweet and a little more depth of flavor in the sauce. This would be my suggestion; start by sauteing red and yellow peppers with a little garlic in the hot pan. When 3/4 done, remove from pan and set aside. Dredge chicken pieces in flour, salt and pepper. Saute in hot pan until lightly browned. Reduce hot sauce by half, add some pineapple juice and add some orange zest to the sauce. I look forward to seeing how this would turn out with some enhancements.

Becel® Garlic and Rosemary Roasted Root Vegetables

Reviewed: Feb. 1, 2013
This is super tasty. I made it with butter. Best parsnips ever. Took half the time to cook though. Slice the parsnips thin so that they crisp and most of all, do not over crowd the veggies on the pan. They need space around them in order to cook properly and not steam.
