About this Cook
Im a full time working mom of 2 little boys ages, 4 and 1. Im engaged to the love of my life. Plan on getting married in 2010. Weve been holding off because we just bought a house this year and next year is a BIG family vacation and so 2010 is the best year for a wedding. I am trying to become a police officer so thats also something that is taking up a lot of time and effort!
My favorite things to cook
I really dont have a favorite thing to cook. I cook every night of the week. Lately ive been trying new recipes i find on this site to make dinner a little more exciting, instead of the same old boring simple foods!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I remember when we were kids we would go to my grandfathers for a holiday early to help make antipasta! Lots of people make it different ways. We made is with olive oil, salami, anchovies, black olives, and red peppers! The best!
My cooking tragedies
I dont have tragedies, only cooking lessons learned! :)

Caramel Apple Pork Chops
I loved it but my fiance didnt like it too much, only because hes not a sweet meat kind of guy. When he eats meat he prefers salty/garlicy tastes not sweet. But he still said it was good just not for him.

Honey Nut Granola
I love this recipe. I did exactly how the recipe went. Its got a perfect little crunch. The only thing i did different was cut it in half so it made less which was still a great amount! and i added raisins. I think next time i might add a little brown sugar to give it a little more sweetness!
