About this Cook
I love to cook and have others enjoy what I have made. Recently got married and my husband is very picky so it does make it a challenge.
My favorite things to cook
I love to bake and try new recipes.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking at the holidays was always a favorite. We would make dozens of different cookies and candies.
My cooking triumphs
I got up early one moring to make a breakfast casserole and sausage cresent rolls to take to work my orginal plan for it was not working out well so I kind of combined the recipe for one big pot of breakfast casserole. They loved it and I never told them it was a last minute mistake creation.
My cooking tragedies
I was out of town staying with friends at a condo resort, limited supplies and I made baked beans they were so dry and nothing I could do to fix them.

Apple Scones
Very good, I made mine in the food processor and it was super easy. I added 1 tsp of pumpkin pie spice and I had two small apple. I added a simple glaze when they cooled a bit instead of the cinnamon and suger. My husband had never had scones before and he is very picky and he loved them.

Beer Cake I
I love this recipe, so yummy & easy. I took this cake to work for a tailgate party (what’s a tailgate party without beer, lol) and it was gobbled up. I used butterscotch pudding that I had on hand and took REGINA73 suggestion of making the glaze, 1 1/3 cups sugar, rest of beer & 2 tbs butter then boil, when cake came out of oven let rest about 5 min then poked holes and poured glaze over cake, let it sit in pan for about 15 min, then turned it out, let it cool and drizzled a glaze (powered sugar and milk) over the cake, very moist & good.

Bread Pudding
Very good bread pudding, I added nutmeg & cinnamon because my husband really likes that spice combination. Sauce was heavenly!! Thanks
