Paleo Banana Bread

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2013
Really delicious. And so healthy! I used maple syrup instead of agave. Skipped the almond extract. Used vanilla extract instead of vanilla bean paste. And added a handful of raisins. It takes longer to cook than the recommended time. It might do better in two smaller loaf pans.

Anise Biscotti

Reviewed: Oct. 15, 2009
This is the only recipe on allrecipes I've come across with a complete 5-star rating - and it deserves it! The flavor and texture of these is delicious, and it's easy to make. I didn't have any anise seed or extract, so I substituted sambuca for the anise extract and also used 1/2 brandy/1/2 sambuca, instead of 100% brandy. The dough tastes and smells like Christmas. The recipe says to put two loafs on each cookie sheet, but if you do that, they're very small (certainly not the size illustrated). You might want to only make 2-3 loaves total.

Easy Bake Fish

Reviewed: Apr. 6, 2009
I found the honey flavor did not go well with the fish. I think this recipe would work fine if you just left the honey out.

Lime Chicken Picante

Reviewed: Feb. 14, 2009
This is my favorite recipe on this website. It is totally delicious and easy to make. I now don't bother to marinade - I brown the chicken, stick it in a casserole dish, add the sauce and bake at 350 til done (about 1/2 hour or so). Here's what make's it extra-good: add the yoghourt to the cooking sauce instead of as a garnish at the end. Also nice to add almost-cooked new potatoes to the casserole about 15 minutes before the chicken is done.
