About this Cook
Obviously, I am a Navy wife! I am living in Japan where my husband is stationed. We have been together for almost 4 years and that is when I started cooking. Both my mother and grandmother are fantastic cooks, and I am hoping that I inherited some of their skill!
My favorite things to cook
Anything- I look at cooking as a learning experience! I would have to say that my favorite dish is a chicken and biscuit casserole that I kind of made up one day, but it turned out to be delicious!
My favorite family cooking traditions
My mother makes amazing lasagna. My grandmother made amazing spaghetti bolognese. I am hoping (with some help!) someday, I will make something amazing! HAHA!
My cooking triumphs
Boneless pork chops, meatloaf, chicken broccoli alfredo. Hopefully there will be more to come :)
My cooking tragedies
When my husband and I got married, we got a George Foreman Grill. I quickly learned NOT to make grilled cheese sandwiches on it, and YES, there are pictures...

Honey Baked Chicken II
I love this chicken!! We've had it twice in 2 weeks and it never gets old. Definitely used the 2 tbsp of butter and 30 minutes covered, 40 minutes uncovered. This is a great dish!

Honey Barbecue Sauce
I love this recipe! I was worried because I didn't add all the dry ingredients and then the moist ones, but it was easy to stir and didn't make my arm want to fall off! Not gritty at all and very tasty. I will never buy bottled BBQ sauce again :)
