Guy Approved Meatloaf

ok, been looking for a good meatloaf recipe. I combined another idea to this one, made the recipe as is (loved the chips, adds calories but hey, this is meatloaf!) added some worstechire and apple butter to the mix. Also didn't pre cook the bacon, put some BBQ sauce on the top and then laid the bacon over it. Cooked for about an hour covered in foil and about 20 minutes uncovered. Awesome! even my wife liked it and she hates meatloaf!

Slow-Cooked German Short Ribs

made this according to the recipe as written. Used bone in short ribs, refridgerated overnight and skimmed fat. deboned and thickened the gravy, awesome! great flavor over mashed potatoes. this one is a keeper!

Cola Onion Pork Chops

ok, not sure how i messed this up but open to suggestions. used RC cola and followed recipe exactly. Made a great gravy but the chops came out tough. cooked for an hour at 350 and turned accordingly, maybe RC doesn't have enough sugar? If chops had been tender this would be a keeper

Pan Roasted Pork Tenderloin with a Blue Cheese and Olive Stuffing

Made this for the wife. Big success. Read the reviews and reduced the mustard in sauce to 3 tb and used the required honey. Didn't have lemon juice so used lime. Doubled blue cheese and made my own tapanade with klamada olives, two cloves garlic, olive oil and capers. Served with sauted broccoli/carrots and a chardonay. Will make again!

Dijon Crusted Halibut

awesome! Made it for the wife and served with roasted zuchinni and onions. Lots of mmmms and we will be serving for company. Doubled the recipe for more fish and worked fine. Took previous hint and cooked at 400 for first five min to brown the crumbs then backed off to 350 for the other 12 min or so.
