Broccoli Supreme

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
This is a good weeknight side dish because it is very easy and fast to make. I was slightly disappointed because I thought it would be a little more creamy. It has a good flavor though. My only change was that I added french fried onions on the top for a little crunch.

Easy Garlic Broiled Chicken

Reviewed: Nov. 12, 2008
I do love this recipe. The chicken gets a beautiful brown color on top. Very tastey. I usually cut back on some of the butter to make it a little healthier. The full amount of butter gives it a 'melt in your mouth' flair though.

Apple Stuffed Chicken Breast

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
I love this dish! I usually take the apple pieces that didn't make it into my chicken and cook them in the pan with the chicken. They soak up the wine and butter and end up oh so good. This is one of my favorites!

Easy Beer Bread Mix

Reviewed: Nov. 13, 2008
This is a great recipe to base your breads on. I personally leave out the onion powder and Italian seasoning. Because the self-rising flour has salt in it, I added less salt than called for. I think the 1/2 tsp is too much. I make this quite often and it makes a nice hostess gift or welcome gift.

Mexican Bean Salad

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2009
Love this recipe. Eat it as a salad one day and a dip with tortilla chips the next. I didn't want my salad to be Mexican so I left out the cumin and hot spices and sauce. It was very good that way. The next day I ate it as a dip and added the seasonings to make it Mexican. I only added one bell pepper. Colorful and delicious!

Campbell's Kitchen Chicken Broccoli Divan

This is such a good dish. Make sure you cook it until the bread crumbs and butter make a nice crispy, brown topping.

Beet Bundt Cake

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2010
I was pleasantly surprised with this cake. No one could guess the 'secret' ingredient and they were surprised when I told them it was beets. This is not a sweet cake so the confectioners sugar on top is perfect. Chocolate syrup would also work. Stays very moist!

Salmon Broccoli Bake

Reviewed: Oct. 5, 2010
This was actually very good. I made it because I had all of the ingredients on hand but I didn't have really high hopes for it. My husband and I both really liked it and I'll be making it again. It's good warmed up too.

Wonderful flavor especially with the nutmeg on top. Very sweet and rich. One mug will do.

Salmon Chowder

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2011
This is a great recipe. I make a few changes but overall I keep it pretty close to the original. I use a little bit of olive oil for the onion, celery, and carrots instead of butter. And, I omit the evaporated milk and put some of the potatoes, celery, carrots and broth in my blender to thicken the soup. There's less calories and fat this way.

Turkey Picadillo II

The cayenne pepper was too much for my tastes so I gave the recipe 4 stars. I even added less than called for. I will add twice the amount of raisins next time. Very yummy!

Banana Cake VI

I accidently left the baking soda out and had to stir it in right before I put it in the oven. I thought I ruined the cake! The cake still turned out great and I got many requests for the recipe. Love it!
