About this Cook
I have always loved to cook, ever since I was a young girl. I was always in the kitchen helping my mom. I also love dogs, and have raised collies for 23 years, and cocker spaniels for almost 2 years. I now have 4 collies and 2 cocker spaniels. I am also learning to show my dogs, and have had my male cocker in the show ring several times. What fun!! I am a mother to one son, Mike, age 25, and 3 step children, Becca 21, Paul 19 & Casey 17. My loving husband, Paul and I enjoy bird watching, biking, and being with each other. Paul also loves to cook, and I enjoy it when he makes me those special breakfasts!
My favorite things to cook
Pizza, most chicken dishes,,,chicken is my favorite food! (after chocolate, of course)
My favorite family cooking traditions
My home made pizza, everyone loves it!

Delicious Salmon
This was my first time making salmon, and it turned out wonderful. I followed the recipe, except for letting the fish marinade. I didn't have more than an hour, but it was still wonderful.

Apricot Pork Chops
Made this for dinner tonight. We only had apricot/pineapple preserves so used that. Also I added veggies to the carrots, green peppers, big chucks of onions and chunk pineapple. We had white rice with this, and put the juice over the rice. Only thing I would do next time is add some corn starch to thicken the sauce a bit. Thank you for the recipe!!

Zucchini Brownies
So moist...husband even likes them! Don't be fooled by how dry they are when mixing them up. After you add the zucchini, they become moist. Will make these again and again.....
