I am a 24-year-old soon-to-be graduate student. Since graduation I've been trying to learn how to cook things that don't involve hot water and ramen with varying levels of success.

Cakes, cookies, pretty much anything sweet. I'm pretty good with Italian food and I'm working on my Latino repertoire. I'd really like to learn how to make a good restaurant-style spicy chicken or house lo mein.

My cooking triumphs
Successfully getting my husband to try pancit. He doesn't usually do well with the unfamiliar, but he actually likes a non-Southern-style dish now!

I once made the saddest fried chicken in the whole world. I hate fried chicken, though.
