Texas Pork Ribs

Reviewed: May 26, 2015
There's a reason this is award winning. This is a no-fail dry rub that carnivores will want to slather on anything they can get their hands on. I added a bit of curry, mainly because I like curry, not because it needed it. I'm going to stash a few cups of this on hand for the rest of the summer.

Cranberry Nut Bread I

Reviewed: Jan. 12, 2014
Nothing groundbreaking flavor-wise here. Definitely doesn't have enough sugar to offset the tart from the cranberries. I won't use this recipe again.

Ultimate Cranberry Pudding Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 9, 2014
The fresh cranberries make this a hit. Pick up some vanilla powder and use it instead of extract and you'll bring in more of the cake flavor that others have said it missing. You could also probably half the hot butter sauce recipe and still have leftovers.

Sandy's Chocolate Cake

Best sour cream chocolate cake ever!!! This will not disappoint. I used cake flour for an even smoother texture and got rave reviews.

Chocolate Butterschnapps Cake

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
Amazing flavor!!!! You definitely need to double the recipe so you don't get that brownie-feel. I used a spring form pan and it stuck pretty bad, no matter what I did. This recipes negative are mainly structure related and have nothing to do with the actual taste...you won't be disappointed there!

Rosemary Chicken with Orange-Maple Glaze

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2009
Probably the easiest gourmet entree I have put on my table. Chicken comes out gloriously moist, and the glaze just makes it even better. I paired it with roasted potatoes and green beans so as not to steal the spotlight. Even though maple syrup prices are through the roof, it was worth the real flavor in buying, and I found other recipes to use the rest of the syrup so it doesn't sit in my cabinet forever.
