My husband of 38+ years and I have been blessed with 2 grown sons & 5 grandchildren. Comfort foods, soups, casseroles etc. Extended family potlucks. The first sign of cold weather always brings out my largest soup/stew pot. Add a bag of bagels or warm loaves of crusty bread and a football game, what better way to spend a Saturday afternoon. GO BUCKS! Every time I hear "Thanks Mom (or Grammy) this tastes great! Burning the crescent rolls on Thanksgiving. We cut the black off the bottoms with kitchen scissors. My sons still rib me about it, it's become part of our holiday traditions.
