I'm 25 with a near-2 yr old daughter and am easing back into the domestic lifestyle cooking for my picky-eater boyfriend
My favorite things to cook
I love to BBQ steaks, pork steaks and chicken. I like trying new casseroles and creating new dishes out of leftovers since my boyfriend hates leftovers and its really hard for me to cook for 3 people. I really like to bake when the mood strikes and decorating cakes is a new way to express my creativity!
My favorite family cooking traditions
I come from a large family, so that is why I only really know how to cook for 6 with the intention of having leftovers, lol I remember baking a lot with my mom and making lasagna
My cooking triumphs
Successfully making my mom's lasagna and taco soup recipes. My cake making skills are improving and learning to decorate cakes! Oh, my biggest cooking triumph is developing my own recipe for Pork chops (They are Soooo good)
My cooking tragedies
Hahaha, I tend to burn or undercook things because I dont know when they are done officially. Oh, and I cant do hashbrowns.

Cowboy Stew I
Indeed, Slop in a Pot, but oh so tasty!! I do felt that it needed a little something, so next time I may add a little jalapenos or something, I'm not sure yet. Hubby and our 2 yr old absolutely Loved it! Going into the monthly rotation :)

Mushroom in the Middle Meatloaf
THis is the best meatloaf I have ever tasted and it will become part of our regular dinner entrees in the future. My boyfriend loved it and is actually excited about eating leftovers today! (For once) I did have to bake for about 15 minutes longer to cook through the middle, but ovens vary.

Zucchini Bread IV
By far, the best recipe I have ever used! I took the advice of some of the other reviewers and used half applesauce and half oil (although we only had strawberry applesauce, but it turned out great) I also added a little nutmeg for good measure, lol. Thanks for sharing this recipe! It will be the one I use from now on!
