Turkey Tetrazzini II

Reviewed: Jan. 4, 2010
I liked it, but didn't love it. It was bland, needed something to punch up the flavour. I followed the recipe and the only addition to it was some garlic and onion powder. It made a LOT !!!

Dave's Ultimate Guacamole

Reviewed: Dec. 14, 2009
I made guacamole for the first time. It was sooo good. i only had 3 avocados and I mashed them up to make it chunkier (and less clean up!) I used garlic paste from a jar that I already had in the fridge, some onion powder, a dash of ground coriander and the juice of half a fresh lemon. This is a very good basic recipe, needs a bit of tweaking though to make it the best. Thanks for the recipe!

Tina's Shortbread Chocolate Chip Cookies

Reviewed: Dec. 25, 2008
As a long time shortbread lover and a first time shortbread baker, I have to tell you this recipe is great! I doubled the recipe and I'm glad I did. I didn't think they were turning out very well because they took so long to bake and were not browning at all. I turned up the heat to 350 degrees F and cooked 25 minutes. I am a purist, I made these plain without the chocolate chips and just sifted powdered sugar over the top after they were cool. I took these to a Christmas get together with friends and they were a hit! Thank you very much for the recipe. Hali in Ontario~

Hummus III

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
This was a really good recipe but it turned out to be too much for my blender. I think I fried the motor. :) I too used red chili powder and cumin. Delicious!

Very Easy Shrimp Dip

Reviewed: Sep. 24, 2008
I wanted an easy recipe for shrimp dip. I used 2 packages of cream cheese, beat it to soften with 2 Tbsp light Miracle Whip, blended about 2 handfuls of thawed frozen shrimp cut fine and a couple of oz of cocktail sauce. Tasty and easy. Thanks for the idea~
