Slow Cooker Sausage with Sauce

Delicious and NOT greasy at all. Instead of using a jar of sauce, I use 1 can of tomato paste. Sausage, some bell pepper strips and Italian pepper strips and onions.mmmm-delicious! I don't know where 1 reviewer thought it would be greasy form the slow cooker- not at all.

Spinach and Mushroom Quesadillas

You don't have to fry these. You can use a George Foreman grill or panini maker. Then they don't get so greasy. You should also put some sort of pices in it. Spinach and mushrooms are pretty blah. You can add in any veggies you want. Squash is really good and a couple of sliced jalapenos for some flavor.

Six Can Chicken Tortilla Soup

Without adding chili powder and cumin it is very bland. MAYBE,MAYBE I'll try it again with real chicken, but I doubt it.

Crock Pot Portobello Chicken

This was very easy to make on a humid day. You really don't need all that pasta. Next time I will make white rice instead. I will also add in an onion, and a pepper. I used 3 packages of baby bellas. It tasted pretty good. Nothing to rave about, but a definite keeper

Manicotti Italian Casserole

This is not manicotti-no ricotta chesse. But its delicious nonetheless. Very easy and inexpensive to make. I also added in garlic. The pepperoni gives it a great flavor. I put some into the meat mixture along with 1 bag of cheese,and put pepperoni on top then another bag of cheese. This is a keeper

Elegant Mushroom Soup

Excellent and easy! What more can you ask for. This was so delicious. Most definitely a keeper. I had bought a container of sliced fresh mushrooms and used the whole thing. Not sure if it was 1/2 lb or not but is was enough. Just watch-the recipe is for 2 servings. I didn't realize it until I was done. but its so easy I'll make another batch right away!

Fiesta Stuffed Peppers

This recipe as written, is pretty bland. I doctored it up with more salsa, sour cream and chopped jalapenos.It wasn't bad just bland. So next time I'll use some taco seasoning in the meat mixture, and a can of chiles. And def. more salsa

Stuffed Pepper Soup IV

This is easy, quick, and wonderful! I used beef broth instead of chicken broth (its what I had) and no sage - garlic instead, and it was delicious! This is my new favorite soup. It was done in under 1 hour. What can be better?

Quiche Lorraine I

Next time I'll decrease the cream because it was a little loose. As far as flavor, it rates a 10+. I didn't use a crust(wanted it crustless)and next time I'm going to use a muffin tin and see how that works.

Salsa Chicken

Excellent and easy! I make my own taco seasoning so I used that. I didn't change a thing to this recipe. It leterally took me maybe 3 min to throw it together. Next time I will add a can of chiles to the chicken. Other than that good to go.

Awesome Roast Beef

This was the most tender roast I've ever had. It was so nice not having to make gravy since the broth and soup do it for you. I added 2 cans soup and cut up 1 package fresh mushrooms. I also added in 1 sliced onion which I'll leave out next time. The onion soup mix was enough. This is the only way I'll make roast now!

Anniversary Chicken I

I made this tonight and 1 word- YUM!!! I just put everything in a slow cooker. Didn't brown the chicken had no bacon bits so I cooked the bacon in the microwave and added, along with the little bit of bacon grease. Used regular onions since that is what I had. Let it cook on low all day and it's wonderful! This is a keeper.

Texas Stuffed Mushrooms

I just made these and they are NOT that good!!!! Frozen ones from the grocery store are better. Whoever thought that 1 package of mushrooms was good for this has no clue how to measure. You end up throwing a whole lot out. These are VERY bar-b-qy. So if thats what you like to taste these are for you. No need for the bacon because you cannot taste it at all. You don't taste steak sauce either so maybe increase it. All you taste is bar-b-q sauce. I'll go back to my old way of stuffing mushrooms.

Detroit Hot Honey Wings

I made this yesterday using boneless chicken breast. It was okay. I had quite a bit left so I figured I'd have it tonight, and it was so much better! Awesome in fact. My suggestion would be to let it marinate in the sauce overnight so it really soaks it up. I also made homemade french fries and we dipped them in the extra sauce.

Campbell's® Turkey and Broccoli Alfredo

This was a fast and delicious recipe. Mine did not come out tasting like a can either! I used a whole box of farfalle pasta so it made alot. Next time I will add another cup of broccoli and a small can of mushrooms. Maybe I'll try the itlalian seasonings too like someone else suggested.

Jiffy Casserole

I've made this quite a few times and it is great. The last 2 times I would cube up and parboil 2 potatoes then take a bag of shredded southwestern potatoes and use them. I gave it a real good flavor. My whole family loves this recipe.

Pierogi Dough

The was so easy and excellent dough to use! I filled it will mashed potatoes with bacon bits, and put a little monterey jack cheese in it, folded it and voila! They cooked almost immed. This is a keeper. I'll be making them for Christams. Even if you've never made them befor etry this recipe. Make sure after you fill and fold them you put a damp towel over them to keep them from drying out. I'm sure these freeze well also.
