Simple Chicken Parmesan

Reviewed: Jan. 28, 2014
This is a fairly easy recipe and has wonderful results. Make sure to absolutely use crushed tomatoes and not diced or anything else so that the marinara's consistentcy turns out well. Also, I dont use plain bread crumbs either; I use seasoned stuffing that I crushed up with a bowl and plate. Other than that, I made no changes and everyone loved it.

Yummy Cube Steaks

Reviewed: Jan. 14, 2012
As far as cube steak goes, this turned out real well. I am not a major fan of cube steak but even I liked it. I made the recipe as shown but for more servings but layered it with a bed of white rice then a slice of provolone cheese then the meat/vegetable mixture. And finally topped with a sprinkle of grated fresh parmesan cheese. Everyone loved it!

Chicken Fettuccini Alfredo

Reviewed: Oct. 18, 2011
This is one of the BEST Alfredo recipes I have ever eaten! Everyone loves it whenever I cook it. This is my goto meal to flatter guests with or just make sure all the kids eat. I have cooked this many many times and get nothing but rave reviews every time!

Buffalo Chicken and Ranch Wraps

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2011
awesome!!!! All of my kids loved it. I took suggestions from others and added 4oz of monteray jack and 4oz of charp cheddar. Doubled the wing sauce (used texas pete wing sauce) and doubled the ranch and only 1.5 lb of chicken which I boiled then shredded. Also used a whole 12oz of bacon. If you want it spicier then don't add as much ranch. But a real keepr this one is!

Feta and Bacon Stuffed Chicken with Onion Mashed Potatoes

Reviewed: May 26, 2011
This was a wonderful recipe and surprisingly my 3 kids loved it as well. I had to change a few things though. I only had 6oz (3/4 cup) of Fetta so I added some Mozerella (3-4 oz). I also added an extra heaping teaspoon of sour cream. For the bread crumbs I used chopped up Italian Seasoned Stuffing. I also used a whole pound of bacon and cooked it crisp enough to crumble into 1/2 in pieces or less. I didn't worry about cooking it soft because bacon always softens when I bake it.

Slow Cooker Italian Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
This is a REALLY good version of Italian Beef. My family has had it several times already and it is a hit every time! This is a nice base recipe from which you can add you own flare to as well. I like to put various spices or flavors in this recipe. Also, I strongly suggest at least offering Banana Peppers and Provolone cheese as toppers for the subs/sandwiches you serve; they really set the flavor off.

Chicken and Bow Tie Pasta

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2011
I REALLY loved this recipe; and so did my 3 kids. We have enjoyed this for two different dinners now. Might I suggest though, use pepper and salt...the recipe comes out somewhat bland otherwise but still tastes good.

Baked Pork Chops I

Reviewed: Jan. 24, 2010
I rated this a 5 star for the taste alone. As someone else mentioned, it DOES make a lot of dirty dishes and take some time to prepare; but, if you as me, it was really worth it. Everyone in my family loved it, even my kids. My picky 9 yr old son even ate seconds of it. I didn't change the recipe at all, but I DID change the cook times. I set the oven to 425 and cooked for 40 minutes...then after adding the sauce I only cooked for 15 more minutes. I did this because the chops were pretty much cooked when we fried them up for 5 mins on each side (which 5 mins isn't entirely necessary either) I cooked broccoli and fried okra with this meal as well, which turned out to mix well with the chops. The chops came out very tender and we could almost cut with a fork. Served leftovers as sandwiches and those were good too.

Simple Time Pork Chops

Reviewed: Feb. 3, 2009
This was a surprisingly easy recipe to make. My wife even tried her hand at it and thought it simple. Not to mention the taste was wonderful. I had no idea that the mayo would mix well in the recipe, but it did. The mayo added a slight twang but by no means overpowered the meal...you will not be let down by this recipe. If you are tired of doing the same ole things with chops, try it once and you will want to do it again.

Jen's Hearty Three Meat Chili

Reviewed: Jan. 26, 2009
This was an unbelievable chili. I had never actually attempted chili before but this one was rather easy. I had to vary the recipe a small bit because I had not cinnamon...I used nutmeg instead. Also I had to leave out the sausage because the store I stopped at was out, so it was a two meat chili. But it turned out really good and everyone loved it. I can't wait to try it again to see what it tastes like with the sausage in it.
