Cranberry Pistachio Biscotti

Reviewed: Apr. 8, 2010
Super easy to make. I made a double batch and stored them in a ziplock bag in the freezer. They take no time at all to thaw when you take some out short notice.

What a great idea adding italian sausage with the hamburger. Made such a huge difference! It's the extra little kick I was looking for. I used the hot italian sausage. Ummmm good! THANKS!

Chicken Pot Pies with Puff Pastry

Reviewed: Mar. 27, 2010
Very cute presentation. A little runny. I made mine without the cheese and I used fresh carrots, celery, onions, peas and potatoes.

Party Pinwheels

Reviewed: Dec. 10, 2010
I made these for a staff party and they were super good. Chilled them overnight and they weren't soggy like others said. I had them individually wrapped in saran wrap and cut them right before serving. Also, I'm not the biggest ranch fan so I didn't use it. It tastes fine without it. I also made mine without celery. Personal taste again. And I added chopped green chilies from a can. Two thumbs up! Use different coloured wraps for a nice presentation!

Ukrainian Red Borscht Soup

Reviewed: Aug. 9, 2011
This is the first time I've ever tried Borscht soup. I made the recipe as is except I didn't use the tomato paste because I read the other reviews. I also chopped a big handful of fresh dill. The soup was delicious!

Traditional French Canadian Tourtiere

My girlfriend and I made 6 of these Tourtiere's and they were exactly like our mom's would make them. Perfect for us first timers learning how to make them.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Sep. 28, 2008
So good! I made this tonight and it turned out incredible. I made it exactly as it said and it was great. I used 2 pie crusts from Pillsbury ready made pie crusts and it baked beautifully. Didn't even spill over. And I found the filling was nice and creamy. Not dry like other reviews said...

I also rolled my dough in sugar before baking to add that little extra sweetness and sparkle on top.

Chocolate Chip Banana Muffins

Reviewed: Oct. 23, 2009
These are perfect. I used milk instead of yogurt just because I didn't have any. I had to decrease the baking time a little bit too because they were browning on top.

Love this soup. It's what I've grown up on. My family makes it without potatoes and we use 2 bay leaves and chicken broth.

Basil Shrimp

I have made this so many times and love to use either shrimp or chicken. I usually grill it in a basket on the bbq and serve the chicken over ceaser salad. My friend showed me this recipe and I love it!

Good Old Fashioned Pancakes

Reviewed: Mar. 23, 2009
I don't know why, but the first time they were good, but I've tried 3 more times and every time they've been way too tough and even greasy. I've even left the cold ingredients on the counter to bring to room temp. The batter is too thick and they don't cook well...the bubbles don't come through the top before I flip them....just too many things that have gone wrong...time to look for a new recipe. :(
