I love soccer and basketball but my knees don't let me play bball any more. Both of my girls love soccer as well. My husband and I both love to cook so we rarely eat out unless we really need some time to ourselves.

My cooking tragedies
When I was 12 years old and my parents were out, I decided to make a banana bread to surprise them. Instead of using one cup of butter, I used a pound. It was greusome! A loaf floating in melted butter. I still cringe when I think of it.

Thanksgiving Leftover Casserole
Needed a little more seasoning but it was tasty. I had to assume one reviewer accidentally used sweetened condensed milk rather than evaporated milk

Maple Salmon
Excellent. I served it with whole wheat couscous and ratatouille. As one reviewer suggested I added a tablespoon of minced ginger. You must use real maple syrup though. A few reviewers commented on the thickness of the marinade. If you're using real maple syrup! It isn't that thick. My only complaint is the burnt on marinade in my glass pan. I think next time I will marinate in one container and cook in another. Thanks for the excellent recipe STARFLOWER.

Lisa's Easy Chicken
I didn't have any peppers, but I did have an eggplant, some tomatoes, onion and mushrooms. I used dried chives and dried parsley. Also, used chicken legs and thighs. Yummy served with couscous.
