Oatmeal Raisin Cookies IV

Reviewed: Apr. 2, 2009
These were really, really good. Soaking the raisins keeps them moist and chewy days after baking.

Mini Cheesecakes III

Reviewed: Apr. 4, 2009
They were nothing short of amazing. I used greased silicone cupcake pans (just push up on the bottom of each cup, and the cheesecake pops out unharmed) floated in a large square baking dish filled with water, leaving the cups submerged. This is essential to preventing the outside of the cheesecake from baking faster than the inside, which can result in cheesecake nightmares. Fantastic recipe!

World's Best Lasagna

Reviewed: Apr. 5, 2009
It was really, really good. I either misread the amounts, or the recipe was a bit scanty, because I didn't have enough ingredients to make as many layers as called for. But the ones I made were yum :p!

Apple Pie by Grandma Ople

Reviewed: Sep. 1, 2009
This pie's bottom crust MUST be brushed with whipped egg white and pre-baked about ten minutes, or it will be very soggy. I added a wee tad of nutmeg and a tsp of cinammon to the apples (if added to the sauce, the lattice top will become a very dark brown after baking.) The pie is nice enough, although I prefer the gel-like consistency of storebought apple pie's fillings over this recipe's less smooth, flour-thickened filling.

Rosenmunnar

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2009
The easiest, most foolproof cookies ever. Simple and inexpensive to make in great abundance, and you don't even need the jam. Just shape them into ovals, mark them with a fork and you've got leaves! Everyone loves them!

Buttermilk Pie IV

Reviewed: Sep. 30, 2009
I'd never had buttermilk pie before making this. I had a pre-baked pie crust to use up and some buttermilk, so I tried it. It was very nice, everything we like about pumpkin pie, but without the pumpkin flavor, so there's no one who won't like it. Thanks for posting!
