Butternut Squash Soup

Reviewed: Oct. 4, 2010
Excellent! Only modification I made was I used only 1.5 bricks of cream cheese and they were 1/3 reduced fat. Still very creamy and rich, but slightly more figure friendly! Excellent cozy soup for those brisk fall days.

Irresistible Irish Soda Bread

Turned out excellent! I baked it the night before, and served it with corned beef and cabbage. Very moist and cozy bread.

Slow Cooked Corned Beef for Sandwiches

Reviewed: Mar. 18, 2010
This is excellent. I cooked it in the crock pot all day and came out amazing! I wouldn't change a thing. Had it for St. Pat's day, and now my boyfriend wants to have it in the meal rotation!

Pumpkin Spice Cookie

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
Amazing fall treat! I usually buy the large can of pumpkin (28 oz) double the spike cake mix, and freeze half of it. This way I have one batch for Halloween, and one for Thanksgiving!

Whipped Cream Cream Cheese Frosting

Delicious. A little runny if not chilled. Will add an egg or two next time. Perfect on top of the Pumpkin Spice cookies from this site. A Fall Classic

Great cozy meal! I adjusted the flavors slightly for my own personal tastes and thickened the sauce... and viola! Amazing Stew!

Braised Balsamic Chicken

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
Perfect for a nice meal after work. Extremely quick and easy to throw together, but tastes like you spent hours on it! It will definitely be added to the rotation of meals.

Chicken Pot Pie IX

Reviewed: Jan. 30, 2010
Excellent! I did make a few changes. I didn't have chicken broth around, so I substituted water and 5 bullion cubes. I also added potatoes and doubled the sauce. It was excellent. Never going back to store bought again!!! Thank you

Quick Szechwan Sauce

Reviewed: Aug. 24, 2009
Both my boyfriend and I loved this recipe! I changed things a bit to fit my tastes however. Instead of the two chili peppers I seeded on hearty Serano pepper and then added 1.5 tsp of red pepper flakes. I then added 1 tbs of soy sauce and slightly cut down the sugar. Both of us were pleasently surpised by this recipe. I am sure I will be making it again soon!

Dill Pickles

Reviewed: Aug. 12, 2009
Excellent! I to decided to go to the hot water bath to be on the safe side last year... I regretted it. Pickles were not soggy, but not crunchy either. After talking to some of my canning veteran friends, this year I am going to skip it!

Strawberries Flambeed in Vodka with Hot Ice Cream

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
My strawberries did not flambee... so I ended up with a dessert that tasted like a martini gone wrong. I even used Absolute 100!

Linda's Awesome Brownies

Reviewed: Aug. 3, 2009
Amazing! I did some slight modifications. I halved the amount of bakers chocolate, and instead added 6 TBS of Dutched cocoa and 3 TBS of Canola Oil. This gets rid of any lack of cocolate flavor. I then added some out of the can 'Fudgey Chocolate' frosting. Heaven in a Brownie! One of my favorite all recipes yet!
