I love to cook! I come from a Portuguese and UK background. My grandmother would spend all day in the kitchen to prepare a 6-8 course meal for our family. We would all eat as much as we could and there would still be plenty more. Besides great entree's she also loved to make lots of pie.
Then when I grew up, I took over the mother hen cooking role for my immediate family.
We like to eat really healthy using organic and all natural ingredients. Bonus if it is wheat and gluten free!

My cooking tragedies
Lemon Meringue Pie, I have still not been able to get the whites nice and fluffy like Grandma use to make! Apple cake, never comes out pretty. Frutti De Mer, gotta get the dough strong enough to hold the toppings.
