Raisin Bran Chewies Cookies

Reviewed: Jun. 16, 2009
This is a creative, fast and easy recipe! I also had to use the raisin bran cereal, since no one was eating it, and it was the perfect way to do so! I did use butter instead of shortening, and I added orange zest (about 1/2 teaspoon, since I halved the recipe). After the first batch, I also had to lower the oven temperature to 325, and bake the cookies for about 7 minutes, not 12-14. I also omitted the raisins, because most of my family doesn't like them very much. My brother and mom loved them, and so did I!

Walnut Cups

Reviewed: Jun. 13, 2009
Great recipe! I thought the crust would be harder to do, but it was a breeze, and so was the filling. I didn't have muffin liners, so I just sprayed them with baking cooking spray, and then floured them. I actually had some leftover crust (which I really liked), and my mom made some savory filling (ham and cheese, held together by one yolk), and they turned out like great appetizers! I also filed one with blueberries, and those were very good too! Great recipe, thanks!

Banana Crumb Muffins

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2009
My friends and I were trying this out for a bake sale that we are having, and they all loved it! We halved the recipe so that we could have one each, and it turned out great! We did a bit more of the topping than was required in the recipe, but I think that made it better. Definitely, the topping makes this muffin. Also, I added more banana mash than it said in the recipe, and the taste was awesome! I gave it four stars because it was a little too gooey in the bottom, but that is all.

One Bowl Brownies

Reviewed: Jun. 12, 2009
This was an amaaaazing brownie! I halved it and made it in an 8x8 pan, except that it came out a little bit too thin, but me and my friends liked it just fine that way! It was very easy to make, especially the one-bowl deal! I used half brown sugar and half white sugar, and I didn't add the walnuts, and they came out perfect without them anyway.

Sour Cream Chocolate Chip Cake I

Reviewed: May 24, 2009
I tried this recipe today, and I was awed with the great results! I used nonfat plain yogurt instead of sour cream, and I was scared that it wouldn't turn out as well. But, when it came out of the oven, it was amazing! Since I used the yogurt, I dropped a lot of calories as well. Awesome!

Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Muffins

This was a pretty good muffin! I made it with some whole wheat flour, which really heightened the oatmeal taste.

Chocolate Chunk-Cinnamon Coffee Cake

Reviewed: Mar. 30, 2009
I halved this recipe for a 8x8 pan, and it was great! The batter tasted great from the beginning, and I didn't think the combination of chocolate chips and pecans tasted odd. I just added a bit less sugar, like everyone suggested, and it was perfectly sweet!
