About this Cook
Well I just love cooking. Just wish I had more time! Im married for 2 years now in Feb. Have two dogs (Huskies). We are both active duty in the airforce and currently stationed in Germany.
My favorite things to cook
Dessert. Absolutely love making dessert. Also like cooking dips and appetizers!
My favorite family cooking traditions
Well my mother is a wonderful cook. And the one thing I got from her is to take a recipe and make it your own! We always add a lil bit of this or a lil bit of that without measuring. Makes for great things or well lol probably shouldnt have done that things. But it reminds me of her everytime!
My cooking triumphs
I made my first Cheesecake off of allrecipes.com and it was amazin! Best my husband has ever had so he says. Then I tried a pumpkin cheesecake last month amazin. And the first time I hosted Christmas Dinner it went amazin and everything turned out great!
My cooking tragedies
Well my friends can attest Im a horrible at making my desserts look pretty. But they always taste good. And I tried to make a new salsa to put on flank steak last month! Most horrible thing ever!

Tiramisu Layer Cake
Well I ended up makin this into a Trifle bowl. My Husband had one job take the cake out and flip it and it ended up crumbling. But even so it was amazin! I put a layer of the filling then cake then whipped topping all the way up and then garnished with chocolate covered coffee beans it was wonderful. I did use more coffee and Kahlua and used the cream cheese recipe for the mana. cheese. One of the best Tiramisu ever. Im going to make it for my stepdad when I go home on leave and hes picky bout his Tiramisu! Hopefully next time I can make it into an actual cake! lol So thanks for the recipe!

Coconut-Apple Cobbler
I work alot but I had a BBQ on a Friday night and I had to bring a dish and this is amazingly simple and delicious! Only thing I would recommend is to cover the top for the first 15 minutes or so(gas stove) and let it cook a lil bit longer so to be sure to cook the biscuits all the time way!
