Cooking is what I have to do to feed the large humans who live with me. If I didn't have to cook for people, I likely wouldn't even bother getting very creative. But since I like doing things well, I take my cooking quite seriously.
My favorite things to cook
None of it. I cook because otherwise my family would starve.
My favorite family cooking traditions
Not many. I come from a family that thinks a little basil means spicy.
My cooking triumphs
I get a full dinner on the table every single night and they almost always rave on how good it is. I shy away from nothing. We eat a lot of exotic foods and the family favorite is Indian. This is a huge improvement. Husband #1 always said I was a terrible cook and he'd actually throw his food if he didn't like it.
My cooking tragedies
Very few. Follow directions.
