Slow-Cooker Corned Beef and Cabbage

Reviewed: Mar. 17, 2012
I used a whole beer and just took out some of the water. I think I will add some extra spices as the beer stole the game in flavor. My boyfriend said I should have made twice as much so we had more leftovers. I also took the meat out to rest and added the cabbage for twenty minutes and it was prefect with just alittle crunch.

Cranberry Orange Loaf

Amazing. The loaf does dry out fast so make sure and eat it all up fast. The orange flavor is wonderful. I didn't add walnuts and totally love

Cheese-Filled Coffee Cakes

Reviewed: Feb. 16, 2012
I reduced the recipe in half and then still followed the directions and made four "smaller" pastries. They still came out big but they are so good they won't last long. I split the cheese mixture in fours and flavored each one differently. The flavors I used were apricot, blackberry, orange zest and cinnamon brown sugar with raisins. This will be a new family favorite.

I was worried about the oily batter at the end, but they indeed turning out wonderful.I used m-n-ms instead of choc chips and I added some cinnamon and nutmeg to the floor, and rolled them in a sugar cinnamon mixture before baking and these are the best cookies I've made in a while.

Thought this was great. A little on the bland side. Made it with left over Turkey, a great change up from Turkey sandwiches.

Next time I would put more peanut butter and maybe chunky. Added choc chips and my boyfriend fell in love with these.

Mexican Wedding Cookies (Polvorones)

Reviewed: Aug. 7, 2011
These were wonderful, and got me out of my chocolate chip funk. I added the extra vanilla and I think it made my cookies flatten out. I didn't like how the powdered sugar caked the warm cookies so I used a flour sifter to dispence the sugar evenly. Will definetly make these again, maybe with a small bit of jam.

Soft Chocolate Cookies

Reviewed: Jul. 7, 2011
Soft in deed, almost to soft. I let them fully cool before placing in my cookie jar, and they fell apart in the jar over night.
