I am eccentric and crafty and probably a little bit of a food snob. Although; I would like to add that I love GREAT food, great wine and great music. (those three together can make for a wild night) >;}
My favorite things to cook
I love to make things out of nothing. For instance, leftovers... or something canned... or a run-of-the-mill "quick-and-easy" and making masterpieces. Things that make me literally say "OH MY GOD". I tend to be a perfectionist, so I can tell you right now I wont be posting anything unless its one of those "OH MY GOD" recipes. BTW -I love my saute pan! I love throwing just about anything in my pan with a little olive oil or a tiny bit of butter, adding my choice of seasonings and making magic happen ;)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Baking cookies with my mom. Those were some of the best times of my childhood. Getting messy, licking batter from the spoon, the sugary smells from the oven, nibbling on a "snuck" from the cooling batch... wow, I'm getting pretty nostalgic right now. But don't you dare call me sentimental.
My cooking triumphs
Too many to name.... and not to mention I just made an amazing meal and am stuffed to the gills (I admit I'm probably just being a bit lazy).

Ill make an amazing meal... yet seem to screw up the rice?! WTF?
