Banana Banana Bread

Reviewed: Feb. 6, 2011
I followed a lower fat option as well using 1/2 the recommended butter and 1/2 unsweetened applesauce. I also used self rising flour as that is what I had on hand. I also added, vanilla, cinnamon and nutmeg to taste. Mixed all ingredients except flour, then mixed in flour and baked in muffin tins (12) Sprinkled crushed walnuts on top and baked for 25 min on 350 came out great, it would have been good either way, i like muffins for portability..will use again!

Brooke's Best Bombshell Brownies

Five stars for ease and taste. Everyone loved them.. Will make again. I did not change anything, the only thing I would think of doing different is to sub half brown sugar and add some nuts..but fine as is..

recipe was great! followed it to a t! I didnt know if you put the oats in pot or vice versa so i dumped it in the bowl with the oats and vanilla and peanut butter. i let it boil (rolling boil) for 1 min and then i added peanut butter to soften and then dumped it. Will make again. Thanks

Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings

Reviewed: Oct. 22, 2008
Great recipe. I folled the recipe with only minor changes. Just added some seasoning..poultry, paprika, onion and garlic powder and a bit of pepper and salt. I had refrigerated rolls/pizza dough (pillsbury) in the can and i made small balls and dropped them in the stew about two hours before it cooked fully.. I did also substitue like others chicken stock low sodium for water and i used about one can full (from the soup) I will try to use reduced fat soup when i make it again. by the way the pizza do does not contain cornmeal it was just something i had since the canister burst on me in the fridge..soo...will try again.

Pumpkin Bread IV

Reviewed: Oct. 8, 2008
I knew it would be great before it went into the oven! Great recipe, I made two loaves and 12 muffins from this mix for my husbands training meeting! I followed the recipe without any changes. I did notice that my non stick pan worked better than my glass loaf pan. Other than that its a keeper..will use this recipe again.
