I'm lucky to have a mother-in-law who is a remarkable cook. She has given me lots of recipes I now share with you!

Creamy Split Pea Soup
So Good! For the ham, I went to the deli counter where I normally buy lunch meat and asked them to slice the meat 1/4" thick. I took home 3 slices and added 2.5 slices to the soup to cook and 1/2 slice I diced at the end with the bacon. Yummy!

25-Minute Chicken and Noodles
The description says it's a casserole - it is not. It's more like chicken noodle soup and, with that in mind, it's a decent, quick-to-make soup. I, too, needed to add more broth and cooked the noodles 8-10 minutes (according to package directions). I added garlic salt, as well. for a little more flavor.
