About this Cook
I was surrounded by wonderful cooks growing up. My uncle Joe was the first person who had patience to teach me to cook a wonderful family breakfast. My mom can make just about anything. I love the fact that she comes to me for inspiration for her food. I just graduated culinary school, thank god. It was long and difficult at times but well worth it to me. I work at an assisted living facility and I have a wonderful boss who is open to new food ideas, and I love the challenge of getting my residents to eat healthier less processed foods
My favorite things to cook
Anything new and interesting. I'm fascinated with indian food and thai food. The flavors are amazing.
My favorite family cooking traditions
sunday dinner at mom's
My cooking triumphs
still struggling to master hollandaise and keeping it from breaking after a short time of resting graduating culinary school!!!!
My cooking tragedies
my wrecked hollandaise, i guess. It mixes together well but breaks after 10 minutes of sitting

Easy Thai Beef or Chicken Salad
thought this recipe was going to be good, but it was only mediocre. There's way too much chile flakes in this and the lime is too overpowering. needs more sugar to cut acidity.

Vegetarian Stuffed Poblano Peppers
These were pretty good. The soy crumbles were pretty good to. I use the sargento low fat pepper jack cheese to make them a little healthier

Thai Pineapple Chicken Curry
I'm a cook at an assisted living facility and I made this for my residents and it was great. It wasn't too spicy for them which is great and it had a lot of flavor
