Been married for almost 2 years, and I love having a kitchen of my own! My recent cooking focus has been primarily on healthier options for us, low cal and low carb when possible. I've been enjoying working on my asian cooking especially-someday I'll learn to make sushi properly!
I've been facing some new challenges recently in cooking, as I am no longer allowed to have any wheat, sugar, dairy, corn or oats-all due to food allergies. So suddenly all the recipes I used to make frequently I need to alter alot, or just make up new recipes. It's been a fun challenge!
My favorite things to cook
I love cooking desserts, they are so fun, so easy to get creative with! I enjoy holidays for that sole reason. Anything that I can use my rice cooker for.. (thank you Furuba for tempting me into buying one!)
My favorite family cooking traditions
Ham and green bean casserole. That would describe my Grandma. Mom can whip together a great meal in no time at all. Someday I'll be like that..

None yet! (unless you count the green pancakes that I undercooked when I was 11...)
