Cranberry Martini

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2013
We loved this. Since I was making for a crowd I used the tip of shaking in an empty juice bottle with ice.

Pork Tenderloin with Dijon Marsala Sauce

Reviewed: Feb. 17, 2013
I put Dijon over the pork and marinated in a bag for a couple of hours. We loved this. My friends wanted to lick their plates because it was so good to the last drop. Since I doubled the recipe it did take longer for the sauce to reduce but it was worth the wait.

Kosher Salt Encrusted Prime Rib Roast

Reviewed: May 15, 2010
This was the best prime rib. It seemed strange to pat on the wet salt but it works.

Cranberry Dip

Reviewed: Nov. 25, 2009
I used orange marmelade rather than apricot jam. I baked for 45 min so the cranberries were very soft. I think it is a fabulous appetizer for the holidays.

Apple Muffins

Reviewed: May 16, 2009
I made these as written and they were ok. I then followed other suggestions like adding 1/2 c brown sugar, double the cinnamon, more apples with cinnamon and sugar sprinkled on the grated apples. I threw in raisins and topped with cinnamon and brown sugar. The added sugar and extra ingredients combined to make these a great breakfast muffin.

Ruby-Red Strawberry Sauce

Reviewed: May 16, 2009
I used orange juice rather than the concentrate and frozen, whole berries. This came out just as I was hoping and was perfect on Chantel's cheesecake. I plan to use on waffles also. It was quick and easy.

Chantal's New York Cheesecake

Reviewed: May 16, 2009
I have made this twice and it received rave reviews. I used Ruby Red Strawberry Sauce from all recipes which was perfect. I did not have cracks with a pan of water under the cheesecake and baking at 325 for an hour. This was much easier than wrapping a pan. I think room temp ingredients make a difference in the process. I used 2 TBSP of cornstarch rather than flour. I am fascinated reading the reviews for this recipe.

Chocolate Muffins

Reviewed: Apr. 13, 2009
Wonderful, moist muffins. My family loved them. I had only 1/2 cup of sour cream so I used that and added applesauce also. It seemed to work.
