Absolutely delicious! After reading other reviews, I too really reduced the salt in both the marinade and sauces. I also used a dash of cayenne instead of jalepeno in the sauce, and garam masala instead of cinnamon in the marinade. Since I didn't want to mess around with skewers, I also cooked the marinated chicken on a wire rack (over a cookie tin) in the oven at 180C, as per some suggestions here.
After debating what the closest was to 'tomato sauce' here in Ireland, I used tomato passata after doing a bit of googling, and it came out just right.
This was by far the best recipe I've tried for tikka masala, and I served it with the Naan and Indian basmati rice recipes found on this site. This recipe is definitely a keeper!!
